Using the app means agreeing to these terms.
By using CheckNeck — the iOS application, the companion web experience, or any related services — you agree to these terms.
If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
What CheckNeck Is
A posture coach. Not a medical device.
CheckNeck is a posture monitoring application that uses motion sensor data from compatible headphones to provide coaching feedback.
It is not a medical device, is not FDA-cleared, and is not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any condition. Always consult a healthcare professional for medical concerns.
Compatible Devices
Your hardware must expose a motion stream.
Live tracking requires AirPods Pro (1st or 2nd gen), AirPods (3rd gen+), AirPods Max, or Beats Fit Pro.
Functionality depends on Apple’s CMHeadphoneMotionManager availability and may change without notice based on OS updates.
Subscriptions & Billing
Cancel in two taps. Annual plans include a 14-day refund window.
Premium and Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually. App Store purchases are governed by Apple’s own billing terms. Web subscriptions are billed through Stripe.
You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Access continues until the end of the billing period.
Annual plans are refundable within 14 days of purchase. Monthly plans are non-refundable but will not auto-renew once cancelled.
Acceptable Use
Reasonable limits, reasonably enforced.
You agree not to: reverse-engineer the app, attempt to access other users’ data, abuse the rate limits of our APIs, or use CheckNeck for any unlawful purpose.
Violations may result in account suspension without refund.
Limitation of Liability
Provided as-is — to the maximum extent the law allows.
CheckNeck is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. Allevamentum LLC makes no warranties, express or implied.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Allevamentum shall not be liable for any posture-related injury or indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
Changes to These Terms
We’ll tell you in-app before anything material changes.
We may revise these terms occasionally. Material changes will be announced in-app at least 14 days before they take effect.
Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
